CX-520
CX-520 is a liquid rheology modifier for solvent-based and insoluble systems, and is also suitable for PVC plastic sols and naturally curing resin systems.

Proposed dosage
Coating industry: 0.2-1% of the total formula (supply form) can prevent sedimentation.
Coatings industry: 0.5-2% (in supply form) of the total formula is used for anti-sagging, which is affected by the polarity and solid content of the system.
PVC resin: 0.1-0.5phr (supply form) can prevent sedimentation and color floating.
PVC resin: 0.3-1 phr (supply form) for anti-sagging.
Natural curing resin system: 0.2-1% of the total formula (in supply form) can prevent sedimentation.
Natural curing resin system: 0.5-2% of the total formula (in supply form) is used to enhance anti-sagging.
Application area
Recommended: solvent-based, solvent-free coatings, wood and furniture coatings, epoxy system coatings, PU coatings and rubber paints.
Application: Water-based architectural industrial paint coatings, coil/can coatings.
Processing instructions
Coating industry: Appropriate shearing, add while stirring, and disperse evenly as soon as possible. No special temperature control is required. It can be added after the grinding stage or the paint mixing stage to adjust the viscosity.
PVC resin: It can be added to the PVC plastic sol later, while stirring and adding it slowly. Depending on the formula, the thixotropic structure can start to form up to 4 hours later. But then this structure can be rebuilt instantly.
Natural curing resin system: Appropriate shearing, add while stirring, and disperse evenly as soon as possible. No special temperature control is required. It can be added after the grinding stage or the paint mixing stage.
Special attention
The use of drying accelerators may cause discoloration due to the formation of metal complexes, and their rheological properties need to be tested. Yellowing will not occur when the standard addition amount is used. When the addition amount is too high, attention should be paid to yellowing. When used in reaction systems, catalytic systems and nitrocellulose systems, we recommend testing the storage stability. Using it together with metal catalysts may cause discoloration or delay curing.
Storage and transportation
This product should be transported and stored as a non-hazardous chemical. Keep away from fire sources and store in a well-ventilated, cool and dry place. Shelf life: 36 months.
